2026 Theme: Communion of Saints

Consecration Day–when we will receive pledges for the coming year–will be Sunday, November 2. We encourage you to bring your pledge card to the service, or you can mail it to the church office or complete the online form at waccelyria.org/commitment. After worship on November 2, please join us for brunch to enjoy fellowship and celebrate our own acts of stewardship in response to God’s goodness.

This day will also be a commemoration of All Saints’ Day as we honor Christians whose lives set examples of great faithfulness. Across many years, WACC members and friends have united in vibrant worship services, joyful celebrations, extraordinary outreach, and unwavering support for one another. Each of these elements strengthens our congregation, and it’s your generosity that makes this possible today.

Together we are continuing the legacy of faithful people who set examples for us to welcome all, uplift the marginalized, and care for creation.

Please consider how you can extend your blessings to others through a financial pledge in 2026. Your contribution is an expression of gratitude and care that enables us to increase our church’s witness and to grow and serve our community. With grateful hearts and a caring spirit, we can accomplish much. Your commitment helps maintain our church, supports vital outreach programs, and allows us to remain a beacon of hope and love.

Megan Rowe has once again beautifully painted new art for this year. She writes, “I was struck by how deeply the effort to sustain life on this earth has become a priority for all of God’s people. I wanted to depict the world and its people—each one alike, of no particular race—to express our shared humanity. The earth itself became the tablecloth, symbolizing the inclusion of the whole world. Jesus stands at the table, beckoning all who have come over the hills to share in the meal he offers. Some travelers arrive empty-handed; others bring food to share, each according to their ability. Yet no one is left behind. The Stewardship connection I hoped to capture is simple but profound: all are welcome. We are one in God’s loving eyes, each called to give and to share as we are able—for the good of all. The foreground images of people gathering and an open table remind us of our call to share these blessings and care for others and for the world.”

As Jesus welcomed all and shared gifts with the people of the world, so too are we called to share blessings and care for others and for the created world. Every pledge, regardless of the amount, makes a difference and gives focus to our mission. Please join us in spreading WACC’s caring spirit throughout our community and across the globe.

With heartfelt thanks,

Ron Dauphin, Chair of the Stewardship Committee
