A Word about Stewardship

A Word about Stewardship

But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
– Matthew 6:33

We are seeking God’s future! Let’s not be afraid of the future, but welcoming, knowing that God loves us and is with us always.

On Consecration Sunday, November 21, 2021, morning worship service includes a time for offering pledge commitments for 2022. If you are unable to worship in person, you may choose to submit your commitment online using our website (waccelyria.org/commitment) or mail it to the church office. I encourage you to visit waccelyria.org/stewardship to discover how we are seeking God’s future. Please think about the generous ways you can walk the path and give back to God through Washington Avenue Christian Church.

Each one of us has God-given gifts that are worthy and welcomed. We have the resources of this church property and this congregation of loving and caring people. As we seek God’s future, I believe we will flourish if we continue to serve and if we continue to contribute. Let us be bold and daring disciples as we forge this life-giving path.

You are a beloved part of this congregation, and I give thanks to God for your faithful discipleship and grateful stewardship. I encourage you to be aggressive in prayer, aggressive in loving one another, and aggressive in support of seeking God’s future. Praise God!

Blessings,

Lauri Warfield
